    Of freedom
Some men were already fighting for freedom before the battle starts.

One of that men makes the difference beetween chapter one and chapter two in American history. That man Is called Lincoln.

This story is set in that transitory epic moment in history were black people finally were granted the status of men.

This is not a black and white movie, this is a cinematic masterpiece with one and a half actors. Were the half could be a nomination in some years and the one deserve an applause.

Cinematic winner, secondary actor nomination and maybe best main actor nomination with a crucial important historical context makes this movie one of the mandatory movies to watch in 2023.

    Very good watch
I must admit I only saw the trailer before watching the movie so I didnt know what to expect apart from the odd bits I had seen in the trailer.

The film on a whole was a very good watch, if I get bored I wont be able to watch the whole film especially with this movie being over 2 hours long.

Will Smith rarely lets me down in a movie an the fact its a true story makes it that bit better.

I think he nails it with the accent and is powerful throughout the movie.

So many scenes that grab your attention and a special mention to Ben Foster he is one amazing actor. I have watched quite a few films of his and he is simply brilliant, always excels as a bad guy.

Definately worth watching if you like your slavery/freedom genre films.
