    Great performances Wonderful story
I read many of the reviews calling the movie "sappy" and maybe it was to some. I am not a movie critic and like most movies-just so anyone reading this knows who I am.

I found this story very compelling and I became very emotional watching it. Both Chante Adams and Michael B. Jordan were ideally suited for these roles. I believe every one wants the kind of love shared by Dana and Charles.

As difficult as it must have been to be separated from each other due to Charles' military duty, the journal Charles wrote for his son was a connecting thread for the family.

Charles wanted to be a great Dad and left his son a journal showing his love and teaching Jordan how to be a man.

    I loved this movie.

    Such a touching movie.
I loved the movie, I am a hard core patriot and this movie tore at my heart strings. I cried and advise ya to have some tissue close! The idea behind the journal was brilliant and gave me the idea to start my own for my children because one day I won't be here.
