    Such a great Christmas/family movie!
I really enjoyed this movie! It was funny, had some twists to it that I did not see coming. It was a good family movie that all ages could enjoy; wasn't to childish but also suitable for those of younger ages. I would 100% watch it again. And the ending made me wanting more but in the good way. The wishing there was another movie way but I also felt like the movie ended well!

I would recommend this movie for sure!

    (Spoiler here)

I'm sad the dad died and I would of liked to see if there was any consequences for the aunt but that's just me being picky because even as is I don't feel like there are too many unanswered questions.

Anyone who rates this lower than a 7 can jog themselves right back up Mount Crumpit
I'm 30 years old and this movie had me laughing out loud and crying at parts as well. After reading some reviews I had to giggle and went and asked my 8 and 11 year old kids (who picked the movie out for movie night) if they were "scared" at any point watching the movie.... they looked at me like I had something crawling out of my ears. "Ummm.... no?" was the answer from both of them. "Okay - just making sure you won't have nightmares!" because one reviewer really thought this was going to give young kids nightmares - well.... I wasn't about to watch this with a 3 year old so maybe that's what they were referring to? I'm not sure - either way, this movie was not scary at all. Movies have to have a protagonist and an antagonist for there to be any story or depth to it. Don't listen to any of the bad reviews! I have a British background and so does my fiancé so we thoroughly enjoyed this film! It was witty and heartfelt. The CGI wasn't the best but I have seen way worse from much higher rates films! And oh the mouse - the mouse was by far our favourite part of the movie - his sarcastic at times one liners.... trust me... the adults in the room were laughing. I haven't laughed/cried during a movie... let alone a Christmas movie in a very long time! You know it's a well done film when it moves the audience and that's just what this did! If you don't understand British humor or in some cases, dry British humor maybe this film isn't for you. Everything about this film was fantastic and is a much watch! I got a few vibes from other movies, including Frozen, Harry Potter (maybe just from the actors Maggie Smith and Jim Broadbent), Peter Pan, etc. It also reminded me of Jan Brett books and another lovely children's book called. The Christmas Wish by Lori Evert. This is going to be a must watch every Christmas for our family!
