One of the worst movies, if not "The" worst i have ever seen!!!
Never seen anything more wasted than this cast and movie, like how??? It has a perfect cast, everyone is acting to perfection, they have great props and its literally a western movie. How do you mess something with this much potential so much up. The movie even felt finished after 50 minutes in, because nothing really happened at that point, other than the movie having an disastrous identity crisis.

From 50 minutes in, its like the movie starts over every 10th minute and does the exact same boring little multiple identity story, its like the director and writer of this movie never even had heard about the term "Movie" before making this film. You know what? I believe that this should just have been a short film running about 10 minutes, then it could have been ok.

I have no idea how this movie got nominated for anything else than its acting and scenography, it literally had no plot or anything.

And if you think after all that, that i hate this movie because it was slow paced. Then you are completely wrong, because i love long and overly slow movies normally. This movie was just terrible.

Do not waste 2 hours of your life by watching this embarrassingly bad garbage movie.

Solely because of the acting and visuals, that i give this movie a generous (3/10) rating.

The traditional Western gets turned upside down with a brave new storyline
Phil - Benedict Cumberbatch - and his brother George - Jesse Plemons - are wealthy ranchers in 1925 Montana. However, they are far from alike. Phil is a ruggedly handsome man's man who has no time for sissies. After all, the brothers were trained by ultra masculine Bronco Henry. On the other hand, George is a plump, capable rancher with a hankering for piano music. On a cattle drive, they meet Rose - Kirsten Dunst - a widow struggling to keep her hotel afloat. She plays the piano from a past job and mothers a teenage son, Peter. Soon, George marries Rose and settles her at the ranch. Phil is upset and belittles Rose and the thin, studious Peter at every opportunity. This causes Rose to begin drinking way too much. Suddenly, Phil decides to teach Peter how to ride and make lassoing ropes. Why the change of heart? This outstanding film is far from a typical Western. Therefore, Cowboy film fans, beware. The cast is fantastic and the setting is harshly beautiful. More importantly, the movie asks compelling questions on what "makes a man". There is a stunning plot twist near the end. All in all, this film received accolade upon accolade and deserved every one.
