Enjoyed It Immensely! Looking Forward to the Sequel!!
Another one of those movies that was much better than expected (based on user reviews).

This movie starts fast - as all good movies should - and immediately captures the viewer, who's left wondering "What happened and Why?"

It then plants us in Sao Paulo, capital of Brazil and home of the largest Japanese expat community in the world. Do you know that? I didn't know that! It's a world filled with plenty of violence as Japanese Yakuza from the homeland search for our Protagonist.

So we have an interesting (and for many of us, new) world, interesting characters, both good & bad & good/bad, and a strong story line.

Not everything is as it seems to two of the major characters. In addition to lots of action, there are also interesting twists & turns. "Yakuza Princess" is filled with plenty of gun fights and sword play.

I highly recommend this movie to those interested in Japanese & Brazilian culture, the Japanese Yakuza, and Japanese Samurai culture.

    Better than expected
Truly an enjoyable film. Engrossing story. Good acting from the leads. Some of the supporting roles were weak. Production overall quality was good. Great effort on all levels. Definitely for those of us who like these types of stories. Worth your time.
