Where is the romance and the humor??
This is not the Addams family I knew and loved - at all. Granted, I am not an Oscar Isaac fan - at all - either. His interpretation of Gomez isn't funny nor romantic and intelligent. It's on the creepy side.

Carlize Theron could have been a sexy Morticia, but there were no sexy scenes in this. And I don't mean sexual sexy, but fun sexy - like the madly in love couple Raul Julia and Angelica Huston gave us.

The kids were fine, and Wednesday was good. The lion was the only "hoot" in the film. Brilliant idea. The only decent one.

This movie was a disappointment all around. I totally agree with all the other reviewers who said that it lacked humor. But none of them mentioned that awesome romance that Gomez and Morticia literally oozed in earlier projects.

If there is a Vacation 3, they'll be going on it without me.

Not one new creative idea in the whole movie
We enjoyed The Addams Family movie as it followed in the same theme as the original series with a refreshing plot. As to Addams Family 2 it did not have one new creative idea in the whole movie. It felt like a low budget Saturday morning cartoon with stupid gags. My daughter never heard of the film and said it was a straight to video movie (which it wasn't). You could of interjected the Flintstones, Jetsons, or Archies into the film's plot as main characters and it wouldn't of made a difference. It was Addams family in name only. The animation was good (not spectacular) so I gave it a two vs. A zero.
