Grotesque parody of a movie with a ridiculous delivery and soundtrack
I'm Italian and I'm from Milan. This means that watching a move that takes place exactly there is subject to a particular scrutiny even if unwillingly. That said...this movie is appalling. The actors deliver all lines with a fake terrible accent from the south of Italy which is incongruous and ridiculous considering that 1) Milan is in the North 2) the Gucci family was from Tuscany, but they behave, speak and reason like (movie) mafia guys The story is awful and incoherent, full of holes and inconsistencies.

Jared Letho and Al Pacino are acting in a completely different movie. No wait: Jared Letho is acting on a completely different astral plane. Is that may be called acting.

The soundtrack is a terrible compilation of anachronisms and easy double entendres.

I could go on for hours!

By the way, this monstrosity it's almost 3 hours long!!!

    Walked away from the accents
I walked away, half way into the movie. The accents were horrendous and all over the place. Lady Gaga's accent was the most inconsistent thought out the movie. She would have long lines and her American accent would appear at the very end of her sentences/lines. Visually yes they did a great job of portrayer he character but that was it.

The other actor's accent that was driving me nuts was Jared Leto's. My mouth dropped when I heard him speak... have you ever played the game Mario on any Nintendo system? THAT is what Jared Leto sounded like. -Now to give some doubt, I myself have never been to Italy so I supposed someone could sound like that speaking English as non native speaker. But-My-God! It really did sound like he was making fun of people with Italian accents. I've never heard of any Italians here in the US that were born in Italy speak English like that.

Adam and Al Pacino I thought had realistic accent but again... the issue is that they all had accents all over the place. It's like they didn't even try to hire someone to teach COLLECTIVELY them how to speak with an Italian accent.

The only redeeming factor in the movie for me was the visual tones of the movie. From the start and when from when I got up from my chair to walk away, the settings were pleasant to watch and so were the clothes on all of the actors.

The pace of the movie felt a little slow, nothing was really keeping me on the edge of my seat. Maybe just the accent though... to ditch the movie.
