Ya, Ida know about this mess.
How does writer and director John Swab who gave us Body Brokers, Little Dixie, and my favorite of them all, Candy Land, come up with this disjointed plot-hole riddled underwhelming and incomplete nonsense. Like Candy Land, this film had a very intriguing premise - albeit not as original and rather cliched, but unlike Candy Land, this film gets bogged down with convoluted, confusing, repetitive and mostly unnecessary subplots of which most of them are left incomplete.

It did start off promising and engaging, but half way through it became lost with logic-defying scenes that confused the narrative instead of complimenting it, and with cringeworthy cliches like the Fed and his chewing gum during a shoot-out.. seriously? Swab drastically failed to bring this film to life, and to make matters worse, the ending was the laziest and most underwhelming I've seen in a long time.

With the exception of the charismatic and one-man-show Grillo, the strong cast underperformed with Swab's lack of effective cast direction. It's like everyone except Grillo was sleepwalking. The ridiculously slow pacing with the long dragged out and mostly unnecessary scenes made the 111 min runtime feel like 3+ hours. This film showed lots of promise to be a fun viewing, but all the amateur-hour filmmaking mistakes made this one an unbearable watch with an ending that made me angry that I invested my time into the story.

    Thumbs up!
I love when I don't expect much of a movie and it suprises me. I was interested in story from begining to the end. I love the choice of cast as well. Recomendations!
