The Reef: Stalked
In an effort to heal after witnessing her sister’s horrific murder, Nic travels to a tropical resort with her friends for a kayaking and diving adventure. Only hours into their expedition, the women are stalked and then attacked by a great white shark. To survive they will need to band together and Nic will have to overcome her post-traumatic stress, face her fears and slay the monster.

Turned it off. Pure tripe!
Let's make a film empowering woman .... but let's make them dumb as a stump.... let's add some bad taste domestic violence for shock factor and then let's finally add a shark because sharks mean ratings.
The fake paddling, stupidity of characters and shocking fin CGI makes this a laughable disaster. I just wanted to see them all get eaten!
And can someone make a universal hand signal for 'Shark'. Screaming uncontrollably and waving hands just doesn't work :p
If you want a great girl power kick butt creature movie then watch The Descent.

Not enough shark
Signed up for a shark film, got a kayaking film.
Boring dialogue and poor paddling skills. The characters were mediocre, and hard to connect with. Would be interesting to know the total budget for this movie. Not sure it costs very much to hire 4 kayaks and a beaten up boat for an afternoon of filming.
There's nothing better than a shark film, and this was seriously lacking. The shark got maybe 5 minutes of screen time, but should have been the main character. No suspense when he was off screen, just disappointment.
Would have to give it one star - boring movie and most importantly, NOT ENOUGH SHARK!!
