    Cute movie about LITTLE KIDS!
Just got done watching this, first time I saw it. 46 year old lady, no kids, watched it alone. Came here to see how everyone else liked it after I finished it, and goodness there are TONS who clearly did not watch the actual movie before commenting. There is NO romantic vibe between ANY of the children in this movie. Not sure why so many of you are calling this an animated version of an adult alphabet soup gang movie. It's clear that YOU guys are just on here trying to push YOUR ideas onto a movie that has no tones of it at all. Two LITTLE boys become FRIENDS, then they become FRIENDS with a LITTLE girl they meet on land. It's sad that so many of you don't know what just plain friendship in childhood is, without romantic feelings. And you're actually COMPLAINING that they didn't have these kids get down to doing the actual deed in this animated KIDS movie! Sick!

    Very Boring
While not as completely atrocious as Soul, Luca more than deserves a 2. I would normally give it a 1 due to it's poor story, but I gave it a 2 since the setting is cool. I should also point out how atrocious and annoying Ercole Visconti can be. Ercole cannot take losing at all and serves the perfect foil to both Luca and Alberto. His henchmen are fine, but the betrayal in the climax...not good quality. Luca and Alberto may be annoying, but not the WORST Pixar protagonists. That honor went to the main character of the last elimination, Soul. Luca's mother and father are overprotective of their son. Avoid this film more than any other. Except Soul.
