andershenningsen - 2 July 2024 It cant get worse... but yes it can One of the worst horror movies to date. Right from the first minute until the credits roll, you're almost always one step ahead - that's how predictable it is.
Stories in such films are always thinner than a glass of water.. but the lousy acting from everyone makes it even worse to watch.
A young man, like during an earthquake, finds an ancient book and starts looking in it... and then all hell breaks loose.
The mother, the eldest daughter and the son end up being possessed and then there is a walking dead in it, with everyone on the floor they live on being brought to life and ending up being a big, possessed human monster.
Have you seen even the smallest film about possession, then why don't you take up arms, instead of running scared around a small apartment?
Even if it's your 'family' that has been possessed, why not just go full Texas Chainsaw Massacre on them and have them burned, cut into 2000 pieces and hidden in the box where the boy found the book?
If you like watching a movie with two women, a young man, a young lady and a little sister.. who one by one become possessed and run around an apartment confused.. then this movie is for you.
jpxaviermadruga-90302 - 31 May 2024 I was afraid of the fact that this movie wasn't Bloody bath that honours the genre and the franchise. A perfect actress for this grotesque/scary role that makes fun of you. Not afraid to take that far even with kids as victims, which, by the way, were able to keep up with the tension of the scenes, especially the younger one. It sells what promises you. Pops up among other horror movies for its courage and, honestly, as corny as it may sounds, it feels like it was a movie created with love for the genre and the cinema in general.
MSM (Memorable Spoiler Moments): the corridor slaughter, the elevator scene, the oldest girl possession in the kitchen, mom's final moments before the demon takes over, auntie and final nephew running away from everybody at the end.
