    Huh?
It was all over the place. I mean, literally all over the place. To the point where you are watching the movie and trying to figure out what's important and what's filler. There are scenes that have no point to advance the plot. Scenes that make absolutely no sense. Scenes that are too dark to see what's going on.

It's trying to hard to be art, but then completely fails as a movie. It's a shame, because I like Ethan Hawk as an actor and wanted to like it.

But if you don't trust my review, at the end he does a little blurb where he actually said he doesn't understand the movie and the script didn't make sense either. Lol.

Left me in the dark...literally too
This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and I watch quite a lot. For the most part, the very dark cinematography, and choppy and brusk dialogue, are abysmal. Ethan Hawke stars in it, but who knows? It could be anyone we are watching. The plot is disjointed with scenes that have no rhyme or reason ( maybe because a viewer can't see much). I couldn't understand what was going on, except when there were the anticipated explosions. Adding to that parts in Russian mixed in. The entire movie was a waste of time. I can't imagine the actors being proud to have played roles in this movie.
