Fun, Fantastic
I'm religious and was pleased to find the movie was not disrespectful or offensive. It is not completely accurate but tells the story of Jesus' birth in a beautiful way that leaves me feeling happy. I wouldn't be embarrassed if the Savior sat beside me while I watched it. The singing, dancing, and acting are great. I especially enjoyed their use of humor to make the movie more entertaining. This is one of those movies my wife and I will watch over and over again. We have shared our good opinion about this movie with our children and older grandchildren and encouraged them to add it to their movie libraries. - raycorradi-77521 - 5 January 2024
How to Capture a Family
The Christmas and New Year season is chaotic for our family as with many others. Good fun, celebrations of giving, and the draw of retail insanity were all in the mix...Then came this movie. Our family of 11 aged from 3 to 69 sat entranced by the story line, the acting, and especially the music. The human emotions and struggles of the first, messy Christmas were portrayed in a manner that captivated us and put us all in the scene. We are now several weeks from our first watch and the family has since rewatched several times and are singing and humming the favorite songs.
Our family will be ranking this as an annual Christmas classic.
