    Ruined by bad acting
For once the writing seems to be fine on a movie and it is ruined by the actors.

It just shows that Clooney and Roverts are there for the money.

Everything feels so plastic including the support cast, just reading out lines. Billie Lourd's only seems to be doing any acting and puts an effort, everybody else don't want to be there doing that.

The humor is good, nicely written, but as said, the actors don't put any effort.

This is the first time I wish Adam Sandler would be in a movie and that is pretty much all you need to know about the acting.

In all other aspects the movie is a standard rom-com and you can watch, why not.

    A harmless romantic comedy
Ticket to Paradise was a fun time because everyone on screen was having a good time. Don't get me wrong it's a predictable and thin layered script but still an enjoyable time while watching it. I think the chemistry between Julia Roberts and George Clooney is what it really has going for it. You can tell this is not their first or last rodeo on film. There is a nice charm about the whole family dynamic here that is presented to us. Even though I knew what was going to unfold I found myself cheering for our two leads here. If you are looking for a romantic comedy where you don't have to think that hard then check out Ticket to Paradise. Ticket to Paradise gets an average 7 stars out of 10 from me.
