    Nonsense with some fight scenes
Let's split this review in two. First, the fight scenes. They are mostly serviceable, clear and easy to follow. They were good enough to entertain me, never turned into white noise action. But they also didn't excel in any way. None of them stand out except for one fight during the climax with cool camera movements, involving Iko Uwais (who is the only reason I watched this movie). There are multiple times where someone throws a punch or kick that looks so soft and makes it hard to believe the impact on the punchee. And there were a few obvious shots of the actors clearly not hitting each other.

As for the rest of the movie, as you would expect from a Netflix movie, it's not up to theatrical movie standards. The acting and dialogue are bad. The story is straight nonsense. I didn't care about anything and was just waiting for the next fight scene.

I didn't hate watching this, but it's not good. The one good thing it did was remind me that I need to watch The Raid: Redemption again. (1 viewing, 12/9/2022)

    Iko's worse movie
This is Iko's worse movie... worse fighting choreography... the story is so lame, a lot of absurd plot, even Wu's Assasin better than this movie. No fighting choreography that we used to see in Raid and Raid 2.
