Main character should win an award
I thought that the main character " Edward aka Nefarious " was incredible! The others did not act their part half as well but were able to maintain my interest enough, throughout. Just a little inadequate compared to his acting performance. I loved the dialogue, and the movie shockingly -- enough kept me captivated beginning to end. It was immensely thought-provoking.
This movie may be a trigger to certain people and some topics discussed may be sensitive to select viewers. I don't imagine too many anti-religious types will watch it. And if they do, perhaps they will still find many things to appreciate about the movie! I loved this movie and have watched it twice now! I would recommend it. - swc-05620 - 31 May 2024
A masterful exposition of the evil around us
This movie is so well done, revealing a world view that has been influenced by the (temporary) ruler of this world that seeks to keep us from our Creator. I think this is something everyone should see even though it's a bit hard to watch due to its content. If you come away unchanged, then there's something wrong. Many have their preconceptions and dismiss this out of hand because it flies in the face of their preferred way of thinking. The acting and writing were superb. It is Oscar worthy, but we know Hollywood would never stand for it.
Sean Patrick Flanery was very believable and truly nailed the internal conflict of the main character. The dialog was very well written and directed.
