Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile
When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle - a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music-living in the attic of his new home. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primm’s must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.

Sweet refreshing movie for adults and children!
I adore this movie. Watched it on New Years Eve and from start to finish I was engaged. I'm an adult with no kids, and I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable charming masterpiece. The music is the cherry on "Top of the world" 😉 every track is incredible, I've had the soundtrack on repeat for the last week since watching for the first time!
Not everything needs to be complicated all the time... and the simple plot and lack of realism in some areas is refreshing considering most films I've seen in the last 10 years are very adult-ish and put such an effort to have twisty unpredictable plots (sometimes at the cost of the story) but Lyle Lyle Crocodile was such a joyride! No hidden messages, no explicit content, just a feel-good movie and a throwback to my childhood in the best way possible. I only wish I would've known about it sooner to support the film in theaters!
What are you waiting for? Go watch it!!! I'm so shocked more people haven't found out about this truly amazing film... I hope it gets the attention it deserves! Family Friendly Movie!
There was nothing objectionable in this movie. It was such a fun, loving, enjoyable movie. Fun for all ages ( I'm 74 and my grandchild is 8). The acting and directing was excellent, and the special effects of the crocodile was wonderfully done. Lyle was so endearing and Shawn Mendes, who did Lyle's singing voice, was amazing! Javier Bardem was outstanding as Hector. The script followed the beloved children's book faithfully. Our family loved it! I hope this movie is successful at the box office so that maybe Hollywood will get a clue and give us more enjoyable family fare like it. This movie is well worth watching.
