Lots of Talent in Cast : Writing Needs Improvement
My headline should tell you a lot I was looking for Aquafina as I'm sure many viewers were.
Lots of talent for sure and hope that this road trip buddy type adventure film will garnish these funny actors other opportunities down the road of their career.
Some parts of the film are funny and fresh but I don't like played out stereotypes much. A few touching moments they threw in also.
Perhaps like so many comedy films this could have been a short. Maybe a series of shorts could really work with something like this. I have mentioned this point in some other reviews of mine.
My favorite character was the actress and the writing seem to be a nice match for the actor they cast. - fournierman - 30 January 2024
A Must-see (for mature audiences)
I do not often leave reviews on IMDB. However, I felt the need to leave a review to help improve the overall rating (6.4 at the time of this review). I thoroughly enjoyed this film in theatres last year and currently have it on Digital (and plan to buy the Blu-ray soon). I found myself laughing at many moments through the film, as well as feeling the emotion during some of the dramatic scenes. I do not want to include any spoilers because I want you to watch the film without knowing much of what will happen. The trailer should be fine to watch; it does not reveal too much. However, keep in mind the humor is mostly for mature audiences. Not every joke landed with me; that does not mean the joke was unfunny. It just means others could relate to some of the jokes more than me. Overall, this was a great film and a fun joy ride (haha). I highly recommend seeing this film. Like right now. What are you waiting for? Why are you still reading this? You should be watching Joy Ride right now. Seriously. Stop reading and go watch the movie.
