Team Scott and Malia
Scott and Malia should have been together and had a kid or two. I think they were a perfect match. Don't get me wrong Allison was his first love but Malia was good for him. They just got hop from one relationship to another which crazy, I know they had to do something cause Allison was coming back but still Malia fell in love with Scott during the series towards the finale. They should gotten married. They really only brought back Allison so Scott wouldn't be alone, but could have went in a whole different direction with the movie. Then to top it all for Stiles wasnt in it cause when they began filming the it don't work with schedule and they killed Derek off crazy. - demsoldierjr - 16 October 2023
It was good, or great.
When I first viewed the trailer for this movie I was really excited. It was in October when the first trailer dropped and the movie wasn't released until the end of January along with the premiere of Wolf Pack (more on that latter.)
The anticipation because of the long wait I think my expectations were too high. The storylines and plot were fantastic but without Stiles and the original Kira it just felt a bit too empty. Bringing back Allison the way Jeff Davis did was brilliant storytelling, and of course Lydia's performance is always top notch ( I think she's very underrated as an actress but Stiles not being a part of the cast left too many unanswered questions.
I'm not sure if a recast would have done any good because to me there can only be one Stiles which is hope why they do another movie to wrap up all thee loose ends.
I've always believed that they could do a new Teen Wolf series spun off the the movie. There's a lot of storylines that could be told, from Derek's son, Lydia, Allison or even having Dylan Sprayberry to coming back as he becomes the new Alpha.
