You've seen this plot before. Nothing interesting here.
I gave it two stars because I love Johnathon Goff and the little girl was great. The actors were all solid (shout out to Ron Weasley). But how many times do we have to see (or read) this plot line. It's tired and uninventive. Oh dear. Something horrible is going to happen. An apocalypse, zombies, maybe vamps taking over.... Therefore this nice family must kill the other members in their family either to save the world or stop the horrific event, or find a cure, or in some stories the dad kills their entire family in order to become a zombie/vampire/whatever hunter. SPOILER ALERT Maybe that's why The Last of Us was a refreshing change?

    well made...
The plot was complex and insightful.

Although the twists in this were at a minimum, I did not mind it at all, especially because how pure the whole acting and how good the script has been.

Made me feel until the very last 10 minutes of the film, that the characters engaging with Eric, Andrew and Wen were bluffing.

    The roles were well put.

The acting was strong - A+ minimum.

The beginning was written in accordance to the main story, as an introductive state was presented and the main characters who had the larger contribution to the plot, were being revealed.

The 'choose your family or choose to save the world' idea had left no space for interpretation. The engaging task was put into motion as soon as the three protagonists heard a knoch at the cabin.

    After that, it's all history..

    Good job!
