Lots of fast forwarding in this one
I thought this might be a good movie today, but it was so SLOW. I struggled through the first 15 minutes, then fast forward stopping every few minutes to keep up with the story but cutting out as much of the boring parts as possible. Even the action scenes were highly implausible with all the gunfire yet so many folks surviving hails of bullets from machine guns. Don't these gang guys ever go to the range?

The movie seemed to want to keep pulling the heart strings which for me just seemed totally incongruous given the violence of the movie in every other respect. Sure it was tragic that his son was killed by a stray bullet but then with his apparent anger and need for revenge you would have thought he would have been more strategic at the end of the movie.

So, not a movie I can recommend sadly.

I had to give it a rating
This movie was beyond disappointing. It took like twenty minute to get to the credits. Now I'm stuck with a movie I can't return. The plot felt shallow and failed to draw me in, leaving me disappointed. Despite high hopes, the movie didn't deliver on its promise, resulting in a forgettable experience. The performances felt forced, making it hard to connect with the characters. Overall, 'Silent Night' left me underwhelmed, wishing for a more engaging film. I do not recommend this movie to watch. The best way I could describe this movie, would be if you had to watch paint dry. It did not meet my expectations.
