Magic Mike's Last Dance

Magic Mike's Last Dance

Mike Lane takes to the stage again after a lengthy hiatus, following a business deal that went bust, leaving him broke and taking bartender gigs in Florida. For what he hopes will be one last hurrah, Mike heads to London with a wealthy socialite who lures him with an offer he can’t refuse… and an agenda all her own. With everything on the line, once Mike discovers what she truly has in mind, will he—and the roster of hot new dancers he’ll have to whip into shape—be able to pull it off?

Not in line with previous movies. Salma, just no!
I was so turned off of even watching this after seeing Salma in the trailers, it just felt like a bad match.

Finally decided to give it a go... well... my fears were right.

Having a child narrate the story was just soooo wrong, they could have at least made her uni age or something!

The best part of the movie that actually stuck with true Magic Mike style was the initial lap dance. This was all sexy, seductive, dancing, intimidating, basically sex without penetration, all the makings of a true Magic Mike style lapdance.

I wonder what they were thinking when the cast Salma for this role? She just isn't the right fit at all for this style of movie. And don't even get me started on the chemistry with Channing, it just felt weird to watch.

The acting throughout, as a standalone movie is ok but not in line with MM at all.

I was expecting something way different for the grand opening performance but even that was a let down and not at all what I thought it would be.

The ending was so predictable in a really boring way.

I really wanted to like this movie more but unfortunately it was a let down and so sad the franchise has ended this way.

    Embarrassing to watch
I had high hopes for being "Magic Mike" but it didn't even scratch the surface of my expectation. I felt embarrassed for all the artists in the show. The dances felt so outdated and old despite hiring young and new dancers. I was unsure about what the movie was about... his last dance, the girl or taking the trash stripper concept to high class conservative England and failing to nail it? Salma Hayaks acting was probably the only good thing in the first half of the movie. The highly anticipated dance that made us wait till the end was not worth the wait. None of the dancers characters were developed so it felt disconnected. Please dont bring out any more Mike's.
