    holy crap.
I'm sorry but Who made this God awful movie. First off the story as a whole is so terrible. The cheesy cliché of the moody phone addicted teen gets real old real fast and that's coming from an actual teenager. The characters aren't really likeable at all bc we never even get to know them in a normal setting? Even the main character just seems annoying. There are SO many things thrown into this movie that never come up again. For example, the kids search history? Why in the world did he look all that up 💀 also the fact that the main character awkwardly started crying after hearing this chick that she knew for like a day could die. Definitely would have been more impactful if it was a character she actually knew for a while. I could go on and on about the annoying plot holes but i'm just gonna movie onto the monster. I'm so confused. I think the monster fits better in a goosebumps episode rather than a movie trying to be an adult horror movie. The concept it self isn't terrible i guess? But then again it's heavily relying on creepypastas which honestly just need to remain in the form of short reddit stories and low budget video games. Don't get me wrong I love a good creepypasta, that's why i watched this movie in the first place, but this movie was terrible. If you really want to watch it don't expect much 💀 got a lot of good laughs in though.

    Who wrote this garbage?
This film feels like it was written by a robot. None of the characters act in realistic ways at all. It's as if an alien came down to earth and tried to write a deep and meaningful film about the dangers of the internet without ever having once been a child, teenager or parent, or human.

It isn't realistic at all and you end up becoming annoyed with the characters rather than feeling sorry or empathising with them. It's also a massive rip off of the much better Slenderman. The title is also silly and annoying.

I can't understand why someone would write and make this. It doesn't teach anyone anything. There are lots of good films out there about the dangers of the internet. Making trash like this does more harm than good.
