Very immersive - if you are not pre-biased by incorrect negative reviews
Excellent western, set in time, location and mannerism that will lift you away into that bygone era. You will really feel the wilderness and how early settlers setup life - risk, grime and rustic. Story and characters invite you into their life seamlessly. There is realistic action, human drama and American Indian points of view.

Very immersive experience with variety of people, with variiety of intentions and mannerisms - like in real life. No over the top leading character or hero like a Eastwood type western.

Exceedingly well framed cinematic filming, great angles that enable us to lean into their lives, and many events happening across story lines. Look forward to part 2.

    Epic tale, a little disjointed
Horizon = epic, majestic, brutal, heart wrenching, spirit of endurance, foolish naïveté, incomprehensible depravity of man and yet the willingness to do what is right too, disjointed story, hard to track timeline. I'll probably watch all parts because I like this type of story. I'm hoping for the best a that it will get better over time. Probably should have been a TV miniseries though, but it does look pretty on the big screen. There are so many characters and story lines, it ends up being all over the place. Hard to keep track of what is going on. Ambitious undertaking. I hope they make enough with each installment to finish all parts.
