Original but leaves you craving for more action
Without spoilers this movie is the type you need to see with open eyes and an open heart towards a different type of apocalypse you are used to.

Technically - Visually - Sound Matic - Music Score - Acting on a lean script is what gives you chills without bombastic action or over the top sci fi scenes.

It has a calm serene horrifying type of feeling in how our world could evolve if unchecked evil megacorps crowing bigger by the year to control our very existence.

Iff you are a fan of the hunger games ambience and are a lover of bioengineering, agriculture and sci fi, Vesper is the one movie to see and you will not regret it one second.

On the other hand, if you are a cyberpunk who loves fight action, chases and big boom explosions with hot shot one liners, this one probably will not be the thing for you. I would still say, give it a try and open your mind to the cruel and beautiful handcrafted world of Vesper. ;)

    Science + Fiction
Sure there are a few unresolved plot points but this film is gorgeous, original and well-acted. If you love great cinematography, watch for that reason alone. Set design, costuming, all great.

I loved it because, as a hardcore sci-fi fan, it's rare to find something you've genuinely never seen before (hello Arrival and Annihilation).

Biology, botany, dystopia with lush landscapes, organic and mechanical science fiction.

It could have been a bit shorter but I was never bored and though it is grim it's also fantastical without being remotely sappy.

It's worth your time. There is so little quality sci-fi out there and then they kill half of it, i.e. Raised By Wolves.
