Entertaining but a bit of a let down.
I really enjoyed the previous one and even mentioned in my review of it that it was a great way to transition the franchise in a new and fresh direction so I was pretty hopeful about this one. And while it is a pretty decent movie and fairly entertaining, it feels like a big step back in the wrong direction from Ghostbusters: Afterlife. As many critics have mentioned, the core issue is that they tried to cram too many elements and characters in one movie, and the result is inconsistent pacing, little to no character development, and great actors struggling to do what they usually do best. All in all enjoyable, but also totally skippable.

    Cozy ghost hunting
Another fine entry in the Ghostbusters series. Again, like in Afterlife, we have a mix of old and new characters. A good mix it is, and always a pleasure to watch Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd.

A difference between then and now is that the special effects really have improved, but still we have a reappearance of classics like Slimey and the lady in the library. People gets slimed and scared again.

Ghostbusters really is a trademark to be reconned with, always fine actors and a fine story told, even though its not normally daily experiences that people will live through.

If an actor deserves a special mention this time it must be Mckenna Grace who is doing a very fine job portraying Phoebe.

If you have enjoyed any of the other films in the series, you should really give this a chance also.
