Beautiful Disaster

Beautiful Disaster

Bad-boy Travis is exactly what college freshman Abby needs and wants to avoid. He spends his nights fighting in underground boxing matches, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. But Abby wants nothing to do with Travis. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance, Travis offers her a simple bet: if he loses his next fight, he must remain sex-free for a month. If he wins, Abby must live in his apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that Abby’s dark past is about to emerge, and he may have finally met his match.

    Entertaining
I wasn't aware of this being a book? But then I would never read a book of this genre.

    BUT I enjoyed this.

Don't get me wrong a lot of these negative views are because it is corny at times very dramatic like a Disney channel movie but the jokes and sentiment in between is mature enough to make you laugh and smile. I thought it was a great lil romance. Ive seen worse with bigger budgets and actors. Dylan sprouse really was a treat though, at one point he's acting like an animal and it's hilarious. It took me off guard that he's still this good of an actor with the same charisma he had as a child star.

I think it's entertaining enough to watch especially if you're in the mood for something more girly and romantic.

    Better than I expected!
I actually enjoyed this movie quite a bit! However; I never ready the books and I went into it not knowing anything about the movie. The acting has its cringe moments but I must admit I loved the 2 main characters. There was a lot of comedy from the two leads which I didn't expect. Some of the side characters were awkward and unnecessary (Parker). I guess I can see how he was useful in making Travis jealous, but I was disappointed with where they took his character as the movie played out. I could be biased because I loved Dylan Sprouse so much.

This is my first time seeing the female lead and I loved her character! Her humor mixed perfectly with Dylan sprouse's characters humor. I personally loved it! At first I was worried they were going to make him the cheesy bad boy and I would cringe the entire movie. But they gave him just the right amount of steaminess with the perfect blend of comedic relief.

Ultimately this movie made me laugh a lot, it made me sad at times, it had me stressing during the suspenseful scenes. I'd say it was an all around fun RomCom type movie. I look forward to watching the sequel.
