Soul

Joe Gardner is a middle school teacher with a love for jazz music. After a successful audition at the Half Note Club, he suddenly gets into an accident that separates his soul from his body and is transported to the You Seminar, a center in which souls develop and gain passions before being transported to a newborn child. Joe must enlist help from the other souls-in-training, like 22, a soul who has spent eons in the You Seminar, in order to get back to Earth.

    near perfect
The movie explores the topic of souls, life purpose, absurdity of life, and gaslighting people, also regret, which looks unrealistic but it's an animation for a reason, good for kids, doesn't fully answers anything, just leave you with the conclusion that life have no purpose, and actions don't have any inherit value, it bugged me how the cat returned to life ? Good for you if you are depressed or in a tough place, it will tell you to enjoy whatever you are doing regardless of consequences, and regardless of your dreams, what matters is the moment which will help a lot. Also the visuals and lighting were pretty good,

A Pixar Masterpiece Soars with Heart, Humor, and Profound Questions
Beyond its age and genre, Pixar's Soul (2020) is a cinematic masterpiece rather than just an animated picture. This touching and insightful examination of life, death, and what really matters strikes a deep and universal chord with viewers.

The film's animation is amazing; it captures the wonder and beauty of many realms, from the bright, busy streets of New York City to the ethereal vistas of the "Great Before." Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey lead the way as Joe Gardner and 22, respectively, in the voice acting, which is really amazing. Their performances are poignant and humorous, giving their characters a remarkable depth of nuance. Soul has benefits for all ages, young and old alike. It addresses important issues of life, meaning, and discovering your passion, yet it does so in a style that is interesting and approachable for all audiences.

The movie deftly strikes a balance between heart and humor, leaving you feeling moved one moment and laughing aloud the next. Jon Batiste is the composer, and his music is just incredible. For jazz fans in particular, it gives a deeper level of meaning to the narrative and flawlessly captures the film's vitality. Soul invites you to consider what really gives your life purpose, as well as your passions and personal experiences. Long after the last credits have rolled, you'll still be thinking about and appreciating the small pleasures in life.
