    dull
I know this was based on true events, so, it is what it is, but the characters are so dull, that literally the only character whose faith you are actually interested at the end of the movie, is the only made up character.

Basically the story is about a guy, who was an excavator who started the digging out of Sutton Hoo, (the famous helmet, but, we don't see the helmet in the movie, we see only the ship which is completely disintegrated) until the value of the find was discovered, at which point an actual archeologist comes and takes the dig over. The plot of the movie from then on out the plot is about how he was not credited for digging the mound that he had to be payed to dig in the first place...

Rest of the characters are just as bland and derivative as he was.

From the day the first man set his hand on a cave till the end of time each one of us is an integral part of something beautiful and something continuous
Beautifully directed and even more powerfully portrayed by all the actors. The movie is characterized by beautiful cinematography, dialogues, direction, acting and storyline. Perfectly represents not only the past Era but also aspects associated with it. Even though it falls within the umbrella of one time watch, it is really worth watching one for sure. We really need more beautiful movies like this in the dimension of archeological achievements. Very less movies such as this are made on dimensions like archeological discoveries. But some historical elements will never be discovered because those secrets people took them to a dimension beyond human kind.
