Samara Weaving Is a Shining Light in the Darkness
Although The Valet markets itself as a romantic comedy, there isn't much comedy and hardly any romance. They could not have chosen a worse male lead, as Eugenio Derbez struggled to assimilate himself with this genre, and his constant awkward demeanor was a detriment to the watchability of the film. Samara Weaving, in contrast, is much too talented to be saddled with a script like this. She has obvious star power, as proven by Ready or Not (2019) and The Babysitter (2017), and I fully expect her career to go stratospheric in the coming years. The two leads exhibit little chemistry, which is why I'm presuming the filmmakers establish them as nothing more than friends. And, with the exception of a hilarious bit taking place in a restaurant about halfway through the film, most of the comedy was unfunny. This quality of movie is pretty much what I've come to expect when watching straight-to-streaming releases.

Hollywood Rich lecturing : Anti Gentrification inequality privileges ...!
They think we are their valets but we tipping them ! Billion $ elite hollywood companies following Virtue. S trends , using common progresses to manipulate us for their valet tips & expensive almond milk coffees while talking BIG on racism , inequality ... Just add Slumdog bollywood + korean drama as happening in LA to get this filk ... When 60-50yro dad pick up his teenage weird-fluid son via a bicycle wearing a bikehelmet + how blonde & WHITE the girl character described , makes U ask the director 'Are U for real' ?! ... I wish shakespeare was alive & review this "romcom" for us . The romance of the chilaquiles family was too deep for my stomach digestion ! As a suggestion next movie would be about a very hot pizza delivery 'rom com' w global warming message ! I almost forgot the long direct product placements just unbelievable !
