    Great great movie
    An underrated movie that I could watch over and over. Great musical-drama-a little comedy. Love the cast and director, but most of all thanks to Sparks that made it possible. I've never seen a movie that touched me this deeply for a long time. I could rate it as 9, but 8 is my highest rank for almost every movie that I love so much. I've just seen it, but will again by tomorrow to try and learn the lyrics better. Adam Driver is outstanding as usual, and so is Marion Cotillard. I tried not to weep at the end, but it was very hard not to. The character that I loved the most is Annette for sure. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially musical lovers.

    Loved this movie so much
    This movie stayed with me like no other movie from last year. The critiques I read were all artist choice issues and do not apply.

    Yes there's a puppet for the child. Both patents objectify their child until she is able enough to rectify the situation. Only then dies she become real.

    Once they lose her she's no longer a toy, but a human.

    From a year of multiple remake musical this was the few no IPs. It was original, and powerful.

    Thanks to the Sparks Bros and Carax.

    Watch it. Allow the weirdness to exist. Life is weird. Makes no sense. The reality of this film is that. Existence is weird. Celebrity is immature and not realistic existing for PR reasoning. Why wouldn't the way they treat their child be different.
