It's a great film, but please DON'T watch the trailer (it's very revealing)
First of all, I have to admit I'm a fan of the OG movie and I was so hyped about the sequel. Eventually, it was as good as I had imagined and I enjoyed it. The plot of the 2nd movie was very interesting, mysterious and kinda different than the previous movie. The storyline was well-written and well-explained, even though it was simple and easy to understand. The characters were very interesting and well-developed, but not likeable (except, Phoenix). The filming location of the movie was mainly into the blind man's old house. Also, the casting was nice and their performances were excellent. I have to admit, the sequel was as good as the OG movie, even though I kinda prefer the original one. Gladly, the killcount of the movie was very bloody, brutal and there were many more death scenes than the previous movie. Moreover, it was an intense movie, action-filled and the fight scenes between the blind man and the criminals were epic. The cinematography and the score of the movie were both perfect and kinda similar to the original movie. The opening scene was unpredictable, fast-paced and promising. The 2nd act was intense and full of death scenes. The ending scene was predictable, but I really enjoyed it. By the way, the plot twist was kinda unpredictable and it was well-developed. Overall, "Don't Breathe 2" was an enjoyable sequel, brutal, action-filled and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Last but not least, I'm definitely looking forward for a third movie...

From Bad Guy to Good Guy?
A sequel none of us really needed, yet I like Stephen Lang, so I had no problem tuning in to watch him tune up some thugs... even if he's very much a bad guy in the first movie.

It would have made more sense had it been a direct continuation to the first film, but it's not, and takes on a completely new story. The only thing that's the same is Lang's character, but this time he's the good guy.

The action scene's aren't bad, they're just highly improbable. For the sequel, it moves from a horror/thriller to action/thriller. It definitely lacked that suspense the first was able to capture. Instead it seems to jump aboard the current trope of bad guys jumping an old ex-navy seal who ends up brutally destroying them in the end. We've seen this scenario a lot lately, maybe not so much from a blind guy; but still.
