buckotv - 15 April 2024 a drawn out "how do you do fellow kids" I audibly cringed at every joke and gen Z stereotype in this awful movie. This movie is all about the internet, and if that doesn't seem like a massive red flag to you, i don't know what will. Ron is essentially a knockoff of Baymax from Big Hero Six, a movie with very little quality, but still more quality than this pile of slop. The only redeeming quality in this movie is the grandma. She is the only character that's not hard to watch. I've seen some bad movies, but this is one of the only ones i would never watch again. The movie is made up of a bunch of children written by boomers. Stereotypes galore.
SoumikBanerjee25 - 1 August 2022 Perfection is overrated! "One of the basic rules of the universe is that nothing is perfect. Perfection simply doesn't exist.....Without imperfection, neither you nor I would exist" - Stephen Hawking
A sweet & adorable story about an unlikely camaraderie that forms between a broken-up robot and a teenager. A heartwarming tale that not only helps us in finding the real value of a friendship but it also exemplifies the need for imperfections in our lives.
Just visualize a planet full of perfect human beings and precisely programmed robots that make no errors, try to envision a world where everything runs on 'absolute' algorithms with no visible drawbacks, not a single weakness! Would that world help us grow? Would that environment act as a catalyst to make human existence fairer? I don't think so!
Imperfections are essential to understanding and adapting daily skills, we all have flaws, and we all make mistakes; maybe that's how we are meant to be! Perhaps, that's the root cause of why we have progressed thus far as a society, as a civilization! 'Ron's Gone Wrong' attempts to signify the very same notion!
With a vibrant color palette and an energetic soundtrack; the film not only encourages us to self-evaluate but also makes us aware of the vulnerabilities of technology and the insatiable, selfish corporates, who happens to care about only wealth and prosperity!
Even though the movie does have its fair share of caveats, they can be put aside because of the very fact that it's got a big heart and could teach all of us (including the Adults) what friends are for and what friendship actually means!
