Mediocre drama with elements of romance
This was fine. I think it probably holds more weight if you watch it while you are still young--a lot of the emotion in the movie comes from that viewpoint teenagers have where it feels like your current romantic relationship is the only thing that matters. But it had its moments. I think Joey King makes a lot of movies more watchable than they otherwise would be, because her performances often carry weak stories. I won't recommend it to anyone I know, but if you are 17 or younger and you enjoy weepy YA fiction, this may satisfy you. Personally, I think I will struggle to remember ever seeing this movie after a few weeks have passed.

    It's an ok movie
It kind of wafts along without much purpose or substance. The only reason it's a compelling watch is because you want to see where it's going. It doesn't really go anywhere in particular. It's more of a constant mood that is portrayed. A sort of love story in some ways.
