Great King Story with poor casting and Acting.
The Name Of Sambrath Prithviraj Chauhan is very Big like a Mountain but the casting of the Movie and Acting 40 days of Akshay Kumar was very Bad. The name and Story of our great Emperor Prithviraj were Spoiled by AK and Team. This short of Historic movies takes time to complete it seems like they all were in a hurry to complete it now the result is in front of you. Earlier I was very excited to watch the movie as I watched....... Very bad experience I have ever faced.

Sometimes it's good to compete for the move in a short time depending on the character and Story. I was huge fan of Akshay Kumar but no longer now.

    Soulless
The film is technically rich in every sense of the word, but unfortunately, the same can't be told about the execution of its storyline. One major issue the story faces is that it's driving at a speed that loses the detailing in the way it's told. The treatment of the film is just like that History professor explaining Prithviraj's story in a hurry because he wants to finish this chapter in a single class.

Along with me, many were extremely sceptical of Akshay Kumar claiming to shoot the film in just around 50 days, because of obvious reasons. A character like Samrat Prithviraj needs to be nailed both physically & mentally. Manushi Chhillar makes a confident debut and has a promising screen presence too. Manav Vij is fair but doesn't leave an impact due to a poorly written character. Ashutosh Rana and the rest of the ensemble cast is wasted.

The lesson one can learn from Samrat Prithviraj is that narrating historical dramas by finding a proper conflict and building a screenplay around that is a highly tricky thing. Having war set-pieces, songs, and dramatic dialogues in your movie is not enough to engage the audience. Samrat Prithviraj has a very broad-stroke narrative that just doesn't want to explore the emotional graph of the story.
